Skogen
The game where you fill the forest with life
The Swedish forest, or "skog," is filled with gorgeous flora, intriguing animals and startling fungi. But in order for them to live and thrive, you need to create the right habitat for them.
In Skogen - a beautiful, ambitious game developed over years by experienced biologist and nature-lover Daniel Thorell - you fill the forest up from scratch, laying down the elemental building blocks for the ecosystem and gradually introducing the interlinked species that bring it to life.
This game introduces you to the multi-faceted beauty of the Swedish forest, and the sheer number of plants and animals that fill it, in a way that fires up your competitiveness and creativity in ways that a dusty old encyclopaedia never could. Play as Mother Nature would, scattering around burned trees, nutrient-rich loam and fallen leaves, and watch your barren corpse become a living, flourishing ecosystem.
Skogen is an easy game to pick up and play, but rewards strategic, competitive thinkers with its hidden depths. It's a challenging, fun and informative game for children and adults alike.
Printed on FSC-labelled cardboard, sourced from responsibly-managed forests.
