Ninjas, man
Ninja Print games are all quite different from one another. This is because the people who make them have fairly short attention spans. They're always getting into karaoke or rediscovering the '90s or having kids or whatever, and making games that kind of fit around these things. And since a lot of us are always getting into karaoke or rediscovering the '90s or having kids or whatever, this works out quite nicely, because it means that – increasingly – there's a Ninja Print game for wherever you are in your life.
But, the games also have a lot in common with one another. Like: nice colours, nice fonts, nice pictures, and so on. They're designed to slot neatly into their boxes in a very satisfying manner. And because they're made for, and by, discerning pop culture magpies who fetishize the zeitgeist and are always looking for diversions, there's a lot of references, tropes, nifty little touches, and glow-in-the-dark bits for you to discover. Perhaps this is why people like Ninja Print games. Because all these things are there so that you can enjoy them, and notice them, and really so that you can recognize yourself – the things you like, the things you are – in the games. And, my gosh, you're lovely.
